Day 1: Arrive San Antonio, Texas - Tour Begins
One visit to San Antonio and it’s easy to see why it is often referred to as the “American Venice.” Historic missions, River Walk restaurants, Spanish architecture and a beautiful river centerpiece make this a truly remarkable city. The sights and sounds of the holiday celebrations are sure to get you into the spirit. Following dinner, perhaps you will choose to enjoy the Fiesta de las Luminarias* as you stroll along the San Antonio River guided by more than 2,500 luminaries. Today dinner will be included.

Day 2: San Antonio
Your day begins with a fascinating tour of San Antonio. History and culture abound with a visit to the Mission San Jose, the second mission established by Fray Antonio Margil de Jesus in 1720. This is followed by the Alamo which played a critical role in the Texas Revolution. People worldwide continue to remember the Alamo as a heroic struggle against impossible odds - a place where men made the ultimate sacrifice for freedom. Next, visit the Institute of Texan Cultures*, San Antonio’s cultural experience museum dedicated to enhancing the understanding of cultural history and its influence upon the people of Texas. This evening, enjoy a riverboat ride on the Paseo del Rio. Relax as the narrated cruise takes you along the San Antonio River Walk and admire the many holiday lights and decorations. Today breakfast will be included.

Day 3: San Antonio - Fredericksburg - Bandera - San Antonio
The holiday season is a fabulous time to visit Fredericksburg, located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, with events and decorations flavored by German heritage. You’ll find something for everyone on your list in this shopper’s paradise. Later, discover one of Fredericksburg’s best kept secrets during a demonstration and tasting at Chocolat, the only chocolatier to create liquid praline in the United States. Then, visit one of the Hill Country’s most historic vineyards for a tasting of great local wines. Tonight, arrive in Bandera, the “Cowboy Capital of the World,” for traditional Texas cowboy BBQ and entertainment at an authentic dude ranch beautifully decorated for the holiday season. Today breakfast and dinner will be included.

Day 4: San Antonio
Your morning is at leisure to discover San Antonio on your own. This afternoon, browse for one-of-a-kind goods at El Mercado, the Mexican Marketplace, before a visit to the SAS (San Antonio Shoe) General Store. These comfortable handcrafted shoes have been made in San Antonio since 1976. This evening, experience the flavors of true Mexican cuisine as you learn the art of cooking and making the perfect margarita. After dinner, take your seat for the spectacular San Antonio Rose Live Holiday Show. Sing along as the band of musicians plays old country western classics, as well as some familiar holiday songs, in the historic Aztec Theater. Today breakfast and dinner will be included.

Day 5: San Antonio - Tour Ends
