Pack your bags, we’re off to Ocean City for fun, beach & wild ponies with lots along the way! Get ready for another spectacular tour - Collins Center style. You’ll enjoy deluxe hotel accommodations, delicious meals, great activities, attractions & a fun-filled travel experience.

Get ready for another Collins Center Senior Adventure!

Day 1, Friday, May 17:
6:00 AM Depart Gowanda, NY for Latrobe, PA Lunch Stop en route to your destination. Visit the Flight 93 National Memorial. Depart for Annapolis, MD. Check into the Courtyard by Marriott for 2 Nights. Dinner will be at own on expense this evening.

Day 2, Saturday, May 18:
Breakfast included at the Hotel. Depart for Baltimore, MD Visit Fort McHenry - Fort McHenry is primarily known for the Battle of Baltimore during the War of 1812, when American troops stopped a British invasion. The battle inspired Francis Scott Key to pen what would become the national anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Depart for Annapolis, MD Annapolis City Tour - View St. Anne's Church, Severn River Overlook, and the Maryland World War II Memorial. You will then return to the Maryland State House where your guide will take you on a walking tour of the country's oldest capital in continuous legislative use. (Building interiors when available.) Annapolis Harbor Cruise - Step aboard Harbor Queen for a narrated cruise of the Annapolis Harbor and the banks of the U.S. Naval Academy. Hear about the history of the Naval Academy, Annapolis’ role as an historic seaport, the region’s waterways and even catch a glimpse of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Dinner Downtown Annapolis at own expense.

Day 3, Sunday, May 19:
Breakfast included at the Hotel followed by checkout. Visit the US Naval Academy & Visitor Center – The guided walking tour highlights life at the U.S. Naval Academy past and present. Tour includes Lejeune Hall, Bancroft Hall, Tecumseh Court, Herndon Monument, Main Chapel (when open) and the Crypt of John Paul Jones, Revolutionary War hero. At the U.S. Naval Academy Museum artifacts are displayed in galleries located on two floors in Preble Hall. The first floor is devoted to the exhibit entitled “Leadership and Service: The History of the United States Navy and the Naval Academy.” The famous Rogers Collection of antique ship models is the focus of the second-floor exhibit. Depart for Church Creek, MD. Visit the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitors Center – Walk through the life and times of Harriet Tubman interpreted through state-of-the-art exhibits. See the grounds and visit the gift shop. Depart for Ocean City, MD
Check into the DoubleTree by Hilton Oceanfront. Dinner included with a scenic view.

Day 4, Monday, May 20: Breakfast is included at the Hotel. Eco-Cruise aboard “The Explorer” around the beautiful Assawoman Bay

Enjoy Lunch on own in the quaint walkable town of Berlin. Guided Tour of Assateague Island’s famous “Home of the Wild Ponies” with a stop at the visitor center. Return to your Hotel to freshen up for dinner.

Dinner included at “The Hobbit” Ocean City’s Bayfront Fine Dining.

Optional: Try your luck under the dazzling lights of the Ocean Downs Casino! $15 free play per person if 15 people go.

Day 5, Tuesday, May 21:
Breakfast included at the Hotel. Return to the Hotel for beach/leisure time with lunch on own. Depart Hotel for Fenwick Island, DE with local guide. Visit the “Discoversea Shipwreck Museum” – guided tour and presentation of this hidden gem in Fenwick. Experience Delaware’s newest winery, “The Salted Vines Vineyard” for a tour and educational wine tasting. Dinner at the Salted Rim – dine in a charming vintage, stationary Train Car! Tonight, enjoy the Upscale Magic Show at the Dickens Parlour Theater

Day 6, Wednesday, May 22:
Breakfast included at the Hotel. Depart for Intercourse, PA
Independent Lunch at Kitchen Kettle Kitchen - Historic Pennsylvania Dutch village with specialty shops,
restaurants, a canning kitchen & more. Horse-drawn Buggy Tour - See the world the way the Amish do, from a horse-drawn buggy. Clip-clop down the back roads past beautiful farms with your Plain driver.
Chalk Talk at the Amish Experience - Engage your senses through music, storytelling, and the amazing chalk artistry of a former Old Order Mennonite woman or her son who offer insights into Plain culture with a story that comes to life (and lights up) before your eyes! Check into the Bird in Hand Inn for 1 Night
Dinner at Plain & Fancy Farm Dining Room – rated #1 for family-style dining by Sight & Sound patrons. It’s Lancaster County’s world-famous original family-style restaurant. Enjoy endless platters of roast beef, deliciousgolden fried chicken, tasty country sausage, real mashed potatoes, iced raisin bread, chow chow, delicious apple dumplings a la mode, chocolate cake, ice cream…all you care to eat without leaving the table!
Optional Sight & Sound Theater: JESUS is the musical stage adventure about the most famous person ever to walk the earth and the everyday people whose lives he changed forever at Sight & Sound Theater. ADD $50 per person if you WANT TO add on this fantastic show. This decision must be done with reservation.

Day 7, Thursday, May 23: (B) Breakfast included at the Hotel. Depart for Hershey, PA
Visit Hershey’s Chocolate World - learn how we make that famous HERSHEY’S chocolate, immerse yourself in the flavorful world of chocolate in our all new tasting experience! Filled with the sights, sounds and smells of chocolate, HERSHEY'S tasting experts show you how to engage all senses to taste chocolates – from milk to dark and varieties in between. This FREE simulated factory tour runs continuously from building opening until building closing! Groups of any size are welcome, and the ride is wheelchair accessible. Lunch on own before we set forth for Gowanda, NY
