SUNDAY DECEMBER 8, 2019

6:30 am Tops Supermarket, 355 Orchard Park Rd., West Seneca (please park between the poles marked “I” & “F”)
7:00 am Eastern Hills Mall, 4545 Transit Rd., Williamsville (rear lot behind food court ½ way back in lot)
Travel with pay on own rest stops en route.

3:00 pm Check into Holiday Inn Midtown West, 538 West 48th St., New York, NY 10036 (212) 582-0692 (group ID 175911 – prepaid by company card) This hotel is located in the heart of NYC near Times Square. The Holiday Inn Express features convenient amenities including complimentary Wi-Fi, deluxe bedding, mini-refrigerator, coffee maker, iron & ironing board, hair dryer, telephone with voicemail, free local calls and HDTV with premium cable channels.

Free time to experience all the NYC has to offer. NYC is a magical place to visit for the holidays. The city bursts with bright colors. From lights and decorations adorning the department store windows to the tree at Rockefeller Center lit for all to see. The evening is yours to explore. Dinner on own tonight.

MONDAY DECEMBER 9, 2019

8:30 am Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Before or after breakfast, bring down luggage to front desk to be stored away for driver to pick up later. After breakfast feel free to start heading to Radio City for those who had purchased tickets, those who didn’t enjoy the Big Apple before departure!

10:00 am Walk to Radio City Music Hall , 1260 6th Ave, New York, NY 10020 (see map) (prepaid on company card for 35 orchestra tickets) for the 11:00 am performance of the Christmas Spectacular Starring The Radio City Rockettes. This holiday Christmas Spectacular is the number one family show in America, the Christmas Spectacular has been a beloved holiday tradition for generations. The 2018 production of the Christmas Spectacular will be technologically transformed with the addition of an all-new finale scene and redesigned elements. For almost a century, the Rockettes have been American icons. They have appeared at Radio City Music Hall in hundreds of stage spectaculars, and have participated in many historic and memorable events—like joining the USO and traveling abroad to entertain the troops and support wartime effort, and performing at the inauguration of the 43rd president of the United States, George W. Bush.

After the 90 minute performance, enjoy time on own to finish up holiday shopping or lunch on your own.

1:30 pm Driver to pick up stored luggage from hotel – To load luggage, hotel said you can pull up on the side street between 10th & 11th ave, pull in from 11th and head toward 10th - please ask front desk for stored luggage.

3:00 pm sharp departure from Bryant Park. Meet bus on W 42nd between 5th & 6th (see map). Travel with pay on own rest stops.

11:00 pm Approximate return to Eastern Hills.
11:30 pm Approximate return to Tops.

1. Rockefeller Center Tree (Location: In the plaza center, at 50th Street and Fifth Avenue)
2. Ice Skating in Bryant Park admission is free, but you must pay for skate rentals, locks and bag check. (Location: Between 40th and 42nd Streets and Fifth and Sixth Avenues)
3. Bryant Park Holiday Shops – Take a break from showing off on the ice to stroll through Bryant Park’s Winter Village. It features more than 125 boutique-style shops located throughout the tree-lined park. (Location: Between 40th and 42nd Streets and Fifth and Sixth Avenues)
4. Fifth Avenue Window Shopping – You’ll feel like you’re walking in a winter wonderland when you pass the festively decorated stores like Bergdorf Goodman, Lord & Taylor, Saks and Tiffany. (Location: Fifth Avenue between 39th and 60th Streets)
5. Radio City Music Hall – Nothing says Christmastime like 36 Rockettes performing high kicks! While in New York, it’s a must to attend the annual musical holiday stage show, a fixture since 1933. (Location: Sixth Avenue and 50th Street)
6. Sixth Avenue Decorations – Give your eyes an early Christmas treat by checking out the holiday decorations on the Avenue of the Americas. From festive, oversize tree ornaments to jumbo, colored lights, you’ll be aesthetically pleased every which way you turn! (Location: Sixth Avenue between 34th and 59th Streets)
7. Empire State Building – While taking a tour of New York, don’t forget to look up! The skyscraper will be decorated in festive Christmas colors, sporting green and red lights at the very top. (Located: Fifth Avenue at 34th Street)
8. Chelsea Market – The 6,000-square-foot indoor market has something for everyone. From a smorgasbord of delicious food options to a variety of stores, Chelsea Market just might become your favorite New York destination — especially during the holidays. Make sure to glance around at the brilliantly decorated space. (Location: 75 Ninth Ave., at 15th Street)
9. Lincoln Center – If you’re looking to be dazzled this holiday season, then George Balanchine’s ballet of Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker” is your best bet. You’ll leave the show with the Sugar Plum Fairy dancing in your head — and maybe a nutcracker ornament from the gift shop. (Location: 10 Lincoln Center Plaza)
10. Botanical Garden Holiday Train Show – This 23-year-old tradition is a must see! Watch model trains zip through the miniature, enchanting city past popular landmarks like the Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty and Rockefeller Center.
