Held by AD Makepeace, the world’s largest cranberry grower, the Cranberry Harvest Festival celebrates the greatness of this historic regional staple and state “super fruit”. Meet your guide and Discover “America’s Hometown”. Your guide will share the story of the faith-based journey our forefathers took aboard the Mayflower as you view the Mayflower II afloat in Plymouth Harbor. Enjoy a full day guide service with Secrets of Cape Cod Tour. We will enjoy a gourmet brunch aboard Cape Cod Central RR from Hyannis to the Cape Cod Canal. We will stop at 17th century Chatham Lighthouse. Then visit Cape Cod’s largest exhibit dedicated to the iconic cranberry; Cranberry Culture and learn about the history and usage of the fruit. Finally head off to Hyannis Main street for dinner, boutiques, galleries and gift shops.

Day #1 – Depart WNY Area this morning. We will make pay own lunch stop en route. Arrive at the Fairfield Inn and Suites, Hyannis, MA - (3 Night Stay)

Your guide will share the story of the faith-based journey our forefathers took aboard the Mayflower as you view the Mayflower II afloat in Plymouth Harbor. Take time to explore and see the Plymouth Rock and the Pilgrim’s landing site.

Chatham Light – See a beautifully-kept 17th century Cape Cod lighthouse, located right at the tip of the “elbow” of Cape Cod.
Cranberry Culture – Visit Cape Cod’s largest exhibit dedicated to the iconic cranberry. The wild cranberry, one of only three species of fruit native to North America, was first domesticated here in 1620 and has been used as an important food crop, a colorful dye, medicine, and more ever since. See why this plant was so instrumental in shaping the history of the peninsula as it is today.
Hyannis Main Street - Dinner on own - On Main Street in Hyannis, filled with a variety of dining choices, boutiques, galleries, gift shops and more.
